Where the dispatcher is from and where the driver is from stops being a software question. ## Hire the driver, not the language A Polish forwarding office, drivers from Ukraine and Romania, a customer who writes in German. That mix is a normal Tuesday in EU transport. What is not normal is how much software still assumes everyone reads the same language, and how much time teams lose retyping messages into a translator app. LiteTMS treats the mix as the starting point. The interface follows the person, and the messages follow the reader. ## The panel in 27 languages English and Polish are written by our team. The other 25, from German and Ukrainian to Romanian and Georgian, are generated with AI and labeled in the switcher as automatic translations, so nobody has to guess which is which. And if a phrase is missing from a translation, the screen shows it in English instead of breaking. The switcher sits in the top bar and has its own search box, because scrolling through 27 entries to find Suomi is nobody's idea of a good morning. ## Chat translates itself Every chat message can be translated on the spot into the language you pick. With automatic translation switched on, it goes further: messages translate on open into the languages each dispatcher declared on their profile, so the thread simply reads in your language. A finished translation is stored and shared. Once a message exists in Romanian, the next person who opens it in Romanian gets the stored version, with no second run. A voice note sent in chat is transcribed automatically, and the transcript translates like any other message. The dispatcher reads in Polish what the driver said in Romanian, without replaying a recording over cab noise three times. ## Drivers pick from the full list In the LiteTMS Driver app, chat messages, voice transcripts and company news translate into any of the 184 languages on the list. The driver's own languages sit at the top as favorites and drive the automatic translation, but the picker stays open and searchable, so a one-off message in an unusual language is two taps away. Company news can also carry translations written by the office. Those show as authored, and reading them costs nothing. ## What it costs Interface languages are part of the system. Chat translation and voice transcription use AI, and AI usage is a metered service: the rate and your current usage are visible in the panel before anything reaches an invoice.
