From tomorrow, Wednesday, 28 October 2026, Poland's maximum fuel prices will be 6.55 PLN/l for Pb95 petrol, 7.24 PLN/l for Pb98 petrol and 8.28 PLN/l for diesel, including VAT. Both petrol caps fall by 0.03 PLN/l from Tuesday, while diesel rises by 0.10 PLN/l. The Minister of Energy published the amounts on 27 October in Monitor Polski 2026, item 1039.

Both columns give the amounts printed in notice 1039 (PDF). The Ministry of Energy's announcement, dated 27 October, confirms Wednesday's effective date, 8% VAT and nationwide application. Stations can sell below the cap.
Petrol falls, diesel rises from Tuesday's caps
Compared with 27 October, the VAT-inclusive changes per litre are:
- Pb95: -0.03 PLN, from 6.58 to 6.55 PLN/l.
- Pb98: -0.03 PLN, from 7.27 to 7.24 PLN/l.
- Diesel: +0.10 PLN, from 8.18 to 8.28 PLN/l.
The comparison uses notices 1036 and 1039. Diesel rises for a second consecutive notice, taking its cap another 0.10 PLN/l above Tuesday's October high. At either petrol cap, a 50-litre fill would cost 1.50 PLN less including VAT.

The table covers seven calendar days through Wednesday. The caps for 24 to 26 October come from a single notice.

Against the 3 October launch caps, item 964, Pb95 is 0.18 PLN/l lower and Pb98 0.35 PLN/l lower. Diesel is 0.40 PLN/l higher.
A 600-litre diesel fill costs 60 PLN more at the cap
Buying 600 litres of diesel at the maximum price would cost 4,968 PLN including VAT on Wednesday, against 4,908 PLN on Tuesday. The increase is 60 PLN for one fill. The separately published net caps give 4,602 PLN versus 4,542 PLN, also 60 PLN more.
