From tomorrow, Thursday, 29 October 2026, Poland's maximum fuel prices will be 6.53 PLN/l for Pb95 petrol, 7.37 PLN/l for Pb98 petrol and 8.20 PLN/l for diesel, including VAT. Diesel falls by 0.08 PLN/l from Wednesday and Pb95 by 0.02 PLN/l, while Pb98 rises by 0.13 PLN/l. The Minister of Energy published the amounts on 28 October in Monitor Polski 2026, item 1045.

Both columns reproduce the amounts printed in notice 1045 (PDF). The Ministry of Energy's announcement, dated 28 October, confirms Thursday's effective date, 8% VAT and nationwide application. Stations can sell below the cap.
Diesel falls after two increases, while Pb98 rises
Compared with Wednesday, 28 October, the VAT-inclusive changes per litre are:
- Pb95: -0.02 PLN, from 6.55 to 6.53 PLN/l.
- Pb98: +0.13 PLN, from 7.24 to 7.37 PLN/l.
- Diesel: -0.08 PLN, from 8.28 to 8.20 PLN/l.
The comparison uses notices 1039 and 1045. Diesel's cap falls for the first time after two consecutive increases in notices 1036 and 1039. Buying 50 litres at the petrol caps would cost 1 PLN less for Pb95 and 6.50 PLN more for Pb98 than on Wednesday, including VAT.

The table covers seven calendar days through Thursday. The caps for 24 to 26 October come from a single notice.

Against the 3 October launch caps, item 964, Pb95 is 0.20 PLN/l lower and Pb98 0.22 PLN/l lower. Diesel remains 0.32 PLN/l above its starting cap.
A 600-litre diesel fill costs 48 PLN less at the cap
Buying 600 litres of diesel at the maximum price would cost 4,920 PLN including VAT on Thursday, against 4,968 PLN on Wednesday. That is 48 PLN less for one fill. The separately published net caps give 4,554 PLN versus 4,602 PLN, also 48 PLN less.
