What LiteTMS does and how its pricing works

LiteTMS is a transport management system for carriers and freight forwarders. It brings order handling together with fleet records, documents and communication with drivers. Orders and contractors are free and unlimited. Your bill depends on billable resources, the services you use and active paid modules.

Follow an order through to its paperwork

An order starts with the transport details, stops and assignment of a vehicle and driver. As the job progresses, you need updates, documents and a record of what was agreed. LiteTMS lets you keep that information with the order you are handling.

Vehicle and trailer records hold fleet details, documents and maintenance dates. The contractor database contains the companies you work with. Fleet maps and invoicing are also available, and you choose the functions your business needs.

Drivers use LiteTMS Mobile to view assigned orders, update statuses and add documents. The office can then use the information they submit to continue handling the job. An internet connection is needed to fetch current information and deliver changes to the office.

Each company has its own workspace and database. User permissions determine who can access particular information and functions.

Adding orders does not add a per-order charge

There is no limit or charge for adding orders. The same applies to contractors: recording another carrier or customer does not increase your bill by itself.

This makes one part of the cost clear when your transport volume grows. There is still a distinction between a free order record and the services used to handle it. Sending an SMS or using a paid routing service, for example, can incur a separate charge.

What contributes to the bill

The billing panel shows rates, free allowances and resource usage. User, employee and vehicle counts can contribute to costs, along with other resources covered by the price list. Each item follows its own billing rules and the allowances assigned to your account.

Metered services include AI generation, message sending and file storage. The driver app and standard maps are available without a separate charge for those features. Resources and services used alongside them can still be billable.

Paid module subscriptions, including custom modules, are another part of the total. Check a module's price and terms before activating it. Our module marketplace article explains how trials work for ready-made modules.

Rates and usage are visible in the panel before invoicing. To understand your costs, review both usage and active subscriptions. Fewer orders alone will not reduce the bill, since orders are not charged in the first place.

Cancellation and your data

LiteTMS has no setup fee or minimum term. Registration includes accepting the service terms. You can stop using the system, and your data remains exportable.

Paid modules have their own billing periods. Cancelling renewal stops the next period, with access continuing until the current paid period or trial ends. If you do not want to keep a module after its trial, cancel renewal before the trial ends: otherwise it automatically converts to a paid subscription.

Check the fit with a familiar job

Choose an order whose handling you know well. Check whether you can record the information you need, pass it to the driver and retrieve the documents after delivery. Review the billing panel too, so you understand the charges associated with the functions you use.
